Today on the show, we are joined by Professor Massimo Pigliucci.
Massimo is the professor of Philosophy at the city college of New York. Massimo holds a PhD in evolutionary biology, is a best-selling author and has written in a number of books including How To Be A Stoic and Massimo’s latest book a field guide to a good life - 53 brief reasons for living.
In this episode today, expect to jump into a time machine and go back a couple of thousand of years. Stoicism, we’ve all heard of it but it’s become this fancy term that nobody quite knows what it means. Well that changes today!
With Massimo you will find out what stoicism is and how it can benefit your life, why you shouldn’t fear dying young, how to make decisions like Marcus Aurelius, why it’s going to be beneficial for you to meditate on your own mortality and so so much more.
